ANTI-TANGLE

This type of garment is regulated by EN 510 Standard, which specifies the features of protective clothes that reduce the risk of entanglement or dragging from moving machinery.

The risk of entanglement

The entanglement is a danger that has not to be underestimated: parts of the body such as hair, hands, or objects as laces, sleeves, ties, scarves, bracelets, watches, necklaces or other items that you wear, can drag the worker getting caught in the machine, following the movement of the machine itself. The machines in question can be grinding wheels, rotating cylinders, chains and transmission belts.

The features of anti-tangle clothing

It is very important that work and protection clothing does not have any parts that could get caught on the machinery. So the pockets are only inside, the wrists and ankles are elasticated, the buttons and zippers are covered by flaps closed with Velcro and the pleats are all facing the inside of the garment.
