The features of food service clothing
There is no legislation yet specifying the characteristics of clothing for the food sector, but there are generally three basic indications that this type of clothing has in common:

The pockets, when present, must only be attached to the inside of the garment and must be closed with Velcro;

There can’t be zipper or plastic buttons, but only steel. For buttons it is better if they are snap-on ;

The sleeves must have elastic at the wrists.
Clothing for food use must be made with clear fabric and must be always cleaned and hygienized to avoid diseases, intoxications or physical, chemical, biological contamination.
Who uses food service garments
The main industrial sectors interested on the use of food service clothing are: dairies, slaughterhouses, delicatessens, confectioneries, pasta factories, industries that produce frozen or refrigerated ready-made products.
The types of food service clothes
We have different types of foodwear that meet the specific needs of the sector such as short or long sleeve T-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts, vests, trousers, shirts. There are also accessories such as boots, clogs, hoofs, hats, capes and scarves that contribute to this.

All food service clothing can be bought “neutral”, so without any kind of company reference, or customized by applying, through printing or embroidery techniques, the company logo or company references.
