Work trousers must be practical, durable, robust and comfortable to accommodate every movement we make without interfering with our business. Most work trousers are made of cotton, a durable and sturdy fabric that fits easily and leaves a sense of freshness on the skin.
Characteristics of work trousers
Depending on the weight and type of fabric, we can have summer or winter work pants. Some models are made in rip-stop, which is a tear-resistant fabric. Another important feature is the presence of Elastane which guarantees greater comfort in movements. The elastic can therefore be around the waist or directly woven into the composition of the trouser fabric. Finally, there are trousers with special features such as technical work trousers, thermal, fireproof, antistatic and reflective.
Fabrics used for work trousers
The most commonly used fabrics for making trousers are:
- Denim: fabric designed for the realization of the classic jeans, made of 100% cotton fiber through a diagonal weave that gives the garment a particular strength and adapts to any kind of work.
- Chino: fabric made of 100% cotton twill that guarantees exceptional comfort, and is designed to be used to make garments with a slim fit.
- Canvas: braided fabric used to make light trousers (for summer).
Usually this fabric is woven with cotton, in fact, the composition normally provides 50% cotton fiber and 50% canvas, to have a light and strong fabric even in summer.
Other models
There are several models of a technical nature, with spacious pockets, useful for storing tools for work activities. These types of trousers, called Multipockets trousers, allow agility in movements and greater comfort in the fit, thanks to various details, such as the elastic waist or carving at the knees.
Personalized work trousers
It is possible to customize your work pants to reinforce their visual impact.
The most used technique for customizing work trousers is embroidery, which is well suited to the resistance characteristics of these garments. We can also use digital prints or labels.
